Spiked Sculptures These sculptures are made of folded paper, glue, and each of them has a different form of expression. Their creator, Matthew Shlian, is a paper engineer, he combines complex geometric mosaics with precise folds and creases to form bas-relief sculptures, his works are a mix of art and science. In recent years, Matthew has added some new elements in his works which include warm and cool tones, texture, and variation. There is no much information about him but he has mentioned his creative process: His works are extremely varied from piece to piece.
